I must admit that I am very excited about the Google Android operating system. Thoughts of it send shivers down my spine and here's why:

Linux base
Although I'm not an extensive Linux user, I have been impressed with the experiences I have had; namely, my Ubuntu server, Suse desktop, ISP work routers, and other devices. Linux is the foundation of Android.
