Think "green" is a good thing? Look a little closer. At the heart of environmental protectionism may lie sinister, immoral agendas.
Let me first say that I believe mankind must be a good steward over this God-given gift called Earth. He commanded, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." (Genesis 1:28) We have been given dominion over these things, and are entrusted with a sacred responsibility. Additionally, His commandment to "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth" is still in force.
We understand that we should enjoy and protect this Earth with reason and wisdom. Unfortunately, Satan may be twisting our natural stewardship traits for his selfish purposes. His crosshairs are set on the nuclear family and moral truths, and his actions are often covert. I recently read the article, "Two children should be limit, says green guru" in The London Times and was outraged at Jonathon Porritt's comments that "having more than two children is irresponsible" and that "curbing population growth through contraception and abortion must be at the heart of policies to fight global warming." Is this the true intent of the green movement? Is this why our immoral society has made "being green" the hip thing to do? So that they can slip in their poison of population control, embryonic murder (aka, abortion), and infanticide? As overpopulation and food shortages were touted as reasons to implement population control in the 1970's, constrained natural resources and carbon emissions are being argued today. I submit that population control was not the answer then and it is not the answer now. Only technology, morals, and freedom will solve these problems. Take a deeper look at what the media's feeding you, there's more to "green week" than you think.
